Anyone can join Fab Academy. To become eligible, you have to register to the course by filling the online form and select a Node from the list of active and accepted Fab Labs.

80% Scholarship is offered to the candidates based on their performance in the Interview after the registration. So, to avail this scholarship, a candidate will have to register for FabAcademy 2024 select Kochi Node and then should appear for an online interview with Super Fablab Kochi.

Ans: NO. Fab Academy is a completely offline 6 month intensive diploma programme. You need to be physically present at Super Fablab Kochi for the whole duration of 6 months, starting from January 25 2024 till July 2024. For a student currently enrolled in a regular academic programme, it may not be possible to take up a commitment like this. However, if your academic curriculum provides you a bandwidth to take a 6 month break, and if you can fulfill the commitments of fab Academy, then you can join.

Ans: NO. Fab Academy is a completely offline 6 month intensive diploma programme. You need to be physically present at Super Fablab Kochi for the whole duration of 6 months, starting from January 25 2024 till July 2024.

Ans:Yes you can, provided you have an aptitude towards product design, product development, prototyping, basic proficiency in English language and an understanding of fundamentals of computer operations, engineering and mathematics.

Ans:The standard Tuition fee for the year 2024 is 5,000 USD, the adjusted rate in INR, this amount may present accessibility challenges for prospective applicants. Considering this FabLab Kerala has instituted three distinct scholarship schemes for Fabacademy applicants this year.

Ans:No. Neither Fablab Kerala nor Kerala Startup Mission is offering any placement assistance to the students of Fab Academy. However, all our former graduates have either grabbed excellent higher education scholarships based on their Fab Academy projects or have got themselves placed in various multinational product development firms in multiple capacities. Apart from this, Super Fablab Kochi offers internship and fellowship opportunities to selected Fab Academy graduates based on their performance during the course and this will open up opportunities for better career options.
